So my Communication Theory teacher does not understand twitter or tumblr. Just before spring break she had us write a research paper on social media. I am sure that well over 75% of the class probably wrote on social networking sites such as facebook, twitter, and tumblr. How does that work out? Anyway it reminded me that I have this and that I do not put enough effort in to it. There will be more pictures in the future.

So I am on my last week of classes. 1 midterm, 2 papers, and a photography assignment is all I have to get through. I can not wait until spring break. I will be playing a gig for a hip hop artist in Columbia, which should be quite interesting. I have never played for a hip hop artist and I am really looking forward to it lol. I wonder if I’ll be the only white guy there???
Step 1) Go to the library
Step 2) Look for the perfect place to sit. Not too many people talking, not uncomfortable, not too bright, bright enough.
Step 3) Sit all of your stuff down. Spread out your materials and open your first book. Realize you forgot to get a coffee/tea/orangemochafrappacino. Go to coffee shop to get one
Step 4) See someone you know in coffee shop. Talk for 5 minutes.
Step 5) Sit back down.
Step 6) Check your email! No telling how many people tried to get in touch with you! But wait- what if someone put something on your facebook! Gotta check it, too!
Step 7) Make a commitment that you are not leaving the library until your paper is done. Already make plans to break this commitment.
Step 8) Coffee is done (facebook took a long time). Now you have to use the restroom.
Step 9) Upon your return, realize someone chatted you on facebook while you were gone. Explain why you left it up and then carry on a nice conversation for awhile.
Step 10) Tell this person you have to work on your paper.
Step 11) STUMBLEUPON!!!!! (this would be the montage in a tv that focuses on the clock going around for a few hours sped up)
Step 12) Realize it is almost dinner time. Decide to blog for a bit.
Step 13) Recycle (not plagiarize) wikipedia information for a B+(ish) paper!!!!

2) This just happened. Made me laugh:
2 girls walk in to my comm 201 class with a computer.
They began to sing “I like big butts…”
The song was directed at one girl but obviously the whole class was listening.
When the part “Fellas, (yea), Fellas, (yea)” I joined in with the “yeas”. Loudly.
After the event the teacher said “what was that? some kind of fraternity sorority thing?!?”
Greek guy to my left: “DON’T TRY TO PIN THAT ON GREEK LIFE!! WE CATCH ENOUGH CRAP”!!!
